A World-Renowned Birdwatching Experience in Panama
Considered one of the finest birding destinations in the Americas, Soberanía National Park is home to nearly 400 bird species. Just a short drive from Panama City, this lush rainforest offers visitors the chance to explore a peaceful and pristine ecosystem, where ancient trees, winding streams, and the sounds of nature surround you.
The famous Pipeline Road, a 17 km gravel path through the park, is a gentle walk into one of the richest tropical habitats on Earth. Along the way, you may encounter a wide variety of bird species, as well as butterflies, exotic insects, and occasionally monkeys and other small mammals. The walk is of easy to moderate intensity, with some uneven ground.
